The Master of Science in Information Science

• Holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least Second Class (Lower division) or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Obafemi Awolowo University Senate.

• Candidates holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, with a minimum weighted grade point of 60B+ or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Obafemi Awolowo University Senate.

The Master of Philosophy in Information Science

• A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class (Upper division) or equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or any other recognized equivalent discipline;
• Candidates with M.Sc. by research degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other recognized equivalent discipline with a cumulative weighted average less than 60B+;

Doctor of Philosophy Entry Requirements

• Candidates with a Masters by research degree with a least a 60B+ average from an institution recognized by the Obafemi Awolowo University Senate;
• Candidates on the MPhil Programme with an appreciable levels of research aptitude can transfer to the Ph.D. programme.
