OLUWATOPE O. AYODEJI received the BSc. Degree (Hons) in Computer Engineering in 1995, MSc and PhD. Degrees in computer science in 2003 and 2008 respectively from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. After his Bachelor’s degree, he worked for a few years in the Information Technology industry in Lagos before returning for graduate studies in 2000. He is a member of the Nigerian Computer Society, NCS, Computer Professionals of Nigeria, Nigeria Society of Engineers, (NSE), Association of Computing Machinery and Registered Engineer. He is a Fellow of the Nigeria Young Academy and Heidelberg Laureate Forum in 2015. He is a recipient of the British Council Grant for the African Knowledge Transfer Partnership, Tetfund Grant, HP Innovation in Education Grant, and Alumnode Grant. He is a Professor and lead researcher of the Network Utility Maximisation Group and LegalTechOAU in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Nigeria. His research interests are in the broad areas of data communication and networking with a particular emphasis on modelling, simulation and performance evaluation of transport protocol in wireless/wired communication systems and networks. His recent research activities include embedded system, IoT and 5G. He has supervised several Masters and Doctoral theses. He has over 40 technical articles in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He has also served as a TPC member of various national and international conferences. He has penchant working with the industry.
