Ishaya’s research is in the area of software engineering (SE), particularly in requirements engineering (RE), software testing, and software architecture. He appreciates applying his research in the healthcare domain. The emphasis of his research is on users’ and developers’ perspectives of software systems. At the software architectural level, he has modeled and formulated the relationships between architectural decisions and quality attributes (performance, testability, availability, modifiability, etc.) essential for software design. In his Ph.D. research, he focused on RE, which borders on the early stage of software development and establishes the foundation for a successful system. Ishaya has experience with applied projects and has a clear history of the full research life cycle, including academic publishing in journals and extensive presentation at conferences. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
