OLUWATOPE O. AYODEJI received the BSc. Degree (Hons) in Computer Engineering in 1995, MSc and Ph.D. Degrees in Computer Science in 2003 and 2008 respectively from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. After his Bachelor’s degree, he worked for a few years in the Information Technology industry in Lagos before returning for graduate studies in 2000. He is a member of the Nigerian Computer Society, NCS, Computer Professionals of Nigeria, Nigeria Society of Engineers, (NSE), Association of Computing Machinery, and a Registered Engineer. He is a Fellow of the Nigeria Young Academy and Heidelberg Laureate Forum in 2015. He is a recipient of the British Council Grant for the African Knowledge Transfer Partnership, Tetfund Grant, HP Innovation in Education Grant, Alumnode Grant, and IDRC AI4Edu. He is a Professor and lead researcher of the Network Utility Maximisation Group, LegalTechOAU, and Digital Textile Ecosystem Projects. His research interests include the broad areas of data communication and networking, embedded systems, 5G, and knowledge transfer. He has supervised several Masters and Doctoral theses. He has over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He has also served as a TPC member of various national and International conferences. He has a penchant for working with the industry. He was Head of Computer Engineering, at Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State (Dec. 2019 – Sept. 2021). He is the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
