Entry Requirements – PG

The Master of Science (M.Sc) Computer Engineering Entry Requirements

For the Master of Science in Computer Engineering, the following entry requirements apply:

a. Holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least Second Class (Lower division) or equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by the Obafemi Awolowo University Senate.

b. Candidates holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, with a minimum weighted grade point of 60B+ or equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by the Obafemi Awolowo University Senate.

The Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Computer Engineering Entry Requirements

The minimum requirement for admission into the MPhil programme in Computer Engineering is:

a. A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class (Upper division) or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or any other recognized equivalent discipline.

b. Candidates with M.Sc. by research degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other recognized equivalent discipline with a cumulative weighted average less than 60B+.

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Computer Engineering Entry Requirements

The minimum requirement for admission into the PhD programme in Computer Engineering is:

a. Candidates with a Master by research degree with a least a 60B+ average from an institution recognised by the Obafemi Awolowo University Senate;

b. Candidates in the MPhil programme with appreciable levels of research aptitude can transfer to the PhD programme.
